Totally tackled a big chunk this month!
- Invitations sealed and sent!
With the help of my amazing sister, Julie Ha Design had spent day(s) tearing paper and printing, putting together sets. A little preview of the color palette and paper texture. Will certainly have a blog post of the whole suite!
- Dress is off at alterations!
Booked an appointment for alteration location at Green and Blue Alterations. They work exclusively with Lovely Bride. The gown have to be taken in a bit and shorten a bit. Even though I prefer an American bustle, the material is too heavy for it. So have to go with a French bustle, which I'm okay with.
- Find an officiant
Robert had asked his childhood friend to be our officiant! Don't know why we didn't think of this earlier! I think this would be super meaningful and so glad that he has accepted.
- Wedding Shoes
Got some flats for DIY project but having second thoughts. I'm feeling some more modern shoes lately. lololol
I'm trying to think outside the standard stained wooden boards. Want to try something different but am unsure of what. Thinking of simple signs: Welcome, Escort Card, Table Number Signs
- Cake Tasting
Don't really have a particular flavor in mind. Almost tempted to tell the baker, surprise us! HA. I know, want it to look simple, tier cake. Also thinking of a mini dessert bar?
Confirming rental pieces. Have gotten quote from the caterer regarding flatware. Waiting to hear back from the Tent company for our rain plan tent.
Sent over mockup design to Wild Green Yonder, will be finalizing once we have our walk through in August! Excited to see what Lori has up her sleeves!
Danggggg, we are in the double digits now?! EPPPPPP! Fast approaching, how do you think we're doing friends?!
