So yes, more than half way through January 2016. Had been waiting for the newalbums to arrive from Studio Calico and started to think and prep on how I would like to approach this year’s albums. Project Life was created by Becky Higgins, an ultra-simple, über-stylish solution for getting your photos off your phone and computer, out of boxes, and into albums. Gone are the days of cutting, pasting, buying oodles of supplies, and spending hours on an album. Or even hours on just one page.
For the second go around on Project Life, I wanted to share some plans and goals that I had in mind on what I want to keep the same and want to do different. Jotted down some ideas on what I believe would work best for me.
PLANS AND GOALS:
Albums: Changing it up this year and going with a 9×12 Album. Same from last year, I had bought two albums due to that the full 52 weeks does not fit into one album and needed to be divided up. Last year the 12×12 was just too large for me. There were weeks where I don’t document/take enough pictures. I have plenty of 12×12 page protectors that I plan on cutting down to fit into a 9×12 album.
Kit: After giving the Midnight Edition Core Kit. a try, I going to keep using the ones from the kit when I can. It was a lot of cards and I love the thought of mixing in printables and making my own cards.
Planning: Last year, I had created a blank design layout where I can jot things down for the week or tack post-it notes to it. It was a really good start in the beginning of the year but then as you know, got a little lazy. I am trying to think of a better way to jot things down. Luckily my phone has dates listed when I take photos, which help jogs my memory. I am hoping to incorporate more words
Posting/Sharing: I want to keep this the same and have the goal is is to post/share on a weekly basis, maybe on Wednesdays, nice way to break up the week. Cheers to 2016! Hope to draw out more of the creative side in me and be inspired and to inspire! How are you kicking off 2016?! Are you planning on documenting your year, would love to hear how you are going to do?
