Remember last month where I handlettered some wrapping paper?! (Blog post here) Today, continuing with part two of some diy wrapping paper! Had a friend's birthday last week and wanted to add a personalized touch to the gift. I really should wrap gifts more often. I rarely use black and white for wrapping paper but I found this pattern really modern and clean and added a touch of gold and sparkle! Now you can do it too!
- Free Printable Wrapping paper (Found this on Hey Look blog, there are other colors and designs as well! Check it out!)
- Kitchen Twine
- Washi Tape
- Hole Puncher
- Gold Sharpie Pen
- Gold Sparkle Letter Stickers (Found these at AC Moore)
Step 1: I printed out a few copies of the free printable. Then taking a gold sharpie pen, I filled up randomly certain triangles. I just picked a few so that it could be noticable.
Step 2: Since the letters were stickers, I just left the backing on and cut out the letter I needed. Then I hole punched the top of the letter so I can pull the kitchen twine through later.
Step 3: Wrap the gift. Once the letter has been punched, loop the kitchen twine through and start wrapping the twine around the gift. You can wrap it as little or a lot as you like. I wrapped it about 4-5 times, enough to create a design.
Step 4: I tied a knot on the back of the gift and secured it with washi tape. There you have it, another personalized wrapping paper!
