I have been having a slight obsession with this mini clipboard with detachable clip when I first saw it at True Food Kitchen. They used it as a receipt/bill holder, thought that was so clever and a new modern way of holding it. I wanted to make some mini clipboards to start building an inspiration board. This is a SUPER SUPER simple project. Two whole steps!
- Thin Plywood (Got from Michael's)
- Bulldog Clip
- Wood Stain Paint (Dark Walnut)
- Paint Brush
Step 1: I found a pack of thin plywood at Michael's. It came in a pack of 4. Using a paint brush, paint the wood stain on to the plywood. I ended up using some fabric as well to rub the paint after painting to give it a more rustic finish. Let dry for one hour.
Step 2: I applied two coats of paints for a darker look. Once dried, I added the bulldog clip and add your favorite inspiration pieces and voila done!
