Event Signs

October has been quite a busy month. Wanted to share a few project that I worked/working on. Show the thought process for each of the project from sketching out on paper to the process to the final product.

PROJECT ONE: FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY SIGN

My former coworker/friend's son turned 1 a few weeks ago. It was a cow/farm themed party, such a cute and fun idea! So much detail was thought through even down to the cow printed napkins! Wanted to add a first birthday sign to show the "One" year milestone with some stats and some of the birthday boy's favorite things.

I like to sketch out things on paper. It helps organize my ideas of where things should go and a rough idea of the spacing.

Found this great black foam board at AC Moore, it was 18 x 22. The sketch really helps since this would be transferring something from a piece of paper to a larger scale.

I used a combination of paints, cutouts, and chalk paint pens to create the sign.

PROJECT TWO: BRIDAL SHOWER HAPPY HOUR

One of my coworkers got married last weekend! A few of us wanted to celebrate the bride, she just wanted something lowkey. So why not a bridal shower happy hour?!

The concept for this one was DC Bride. The bride currently lives in Washington, DC and getting married in DC, thought this couldn't be more fitting.

Wanted to keep it simple and just create outline of the monuments.
