I have a confession to make. I am really digging estate sales. The very first time was on a hunt for a mid-century dresser. Recently, been looking for some new nightstands to replace the simple small Ikea tables. Something with more height and drawers for storage.
This time we traveled up to Bethesda, Maryland. Unfortnately, by the time we got to the estate sale, the nightstand was sold out. But it was nice to see what other items were up for sale. It is unique to see what type of person was like and how they lived just by going to the estate sale. The first place, it looked like the individual was a fixer-uper and lover of music. The second place, we make the individual to be a world traveler. There were so many wonderful jewelry pieces and books. A few photos below from this trip below!
We took a break and searched for a place to fuel up! Ended up going to Redwood Restaurant, there was a nice open outdoor seating with giant umbrellas. It was a very rustic/modern feel to it. My friend and I each did a you pick two. Started with Black Eye Pea Hummus | crudites, olives, grillled flatbread. Our entrees were Wood-Grilled Roseda Farm Beef Burger | brioche bun, with pickles, lettuce, tomato, and hand-cut fries. Margherita Pizza | tomato, mozzarella, basil, and grana padano. We couldn't leave without some dessert. It was a Redwood Sundae | chocolate, vanilla, & banana ice cream, chocolate & caramel sauce, whipped cream, banana-nut crumble, topped with cherry.
