Sorry friends! Have been away from blogging for awhile. Past week have been not feeling well, might be from all this cold weather. Coming back with this sweet DIY bobby pin that I had made for Valentine's Day. Also great for anytime use! This DIY originally was from BasicGrey Altered (Found here) Had modified since I didn't have any stitched brads.
Step 1: An easy to cheer up the bobby pins is by using nail polish. Place the bobby pins on a piece of paper and paint, let dry for about 30 minutes.
Step 2: To make the pins, you will need blank brads from any local craft stores. Cut desired fabric into squares, enough to cover the brad. Once covered, secure the backing back pushing into the fabric.
Step 3: Cut off the prongs from the back of the brads with wire cutters. Cut the prongs to where the backing is flat. Superglue the bobby pin to the brad and hold for about 30 seconds. Let try for about 1 hour.
Step 4: Cut the free printable and used a craft punch to give it more flare. Glue to some scrapbook paper and attach pin. ENJOY!
