diy foodie bachelorette weekend invite and tote

Earlier this month we had a mini weekend getaway in New York to celebrate the bride to be Julie. Can't wait to share more pictures from the weekend! But wanted to share about the DIY invite and welcome tote bag for the bachelorette weekend.

Started out with the invite, to keep with the theme of New York, had some images of the skyscape and a map icon. Thought it would be a unique way to display the invite as a foldout. On the left hand panel, displayed a rough itinerary and list of things to bring. The main panel had the Bride's name and the weekend dates of the bachelorette. The right panel displayed some inspiration and a foodie quote.

Along with the invitations, wanted to give the girls a bachelorette welcome tote. Wanted them to be able to reuse the bag so went with an "adventure" quote. Got these canvas totes (Small: 14" x 14" x 3") printed at Vistaprint Keep a lookout for groupon/livingsocial deals, sometimes they have coupon for savings.

Inside, we included some swaggy goodies/favors! Check out some of the fun items we included:

  • Sunglasses
  • Nail Polish

  • Foodie Button (Bought from Etsy: Check out The Flair Shop, tons of cute buttons!)
  • DIY Team Julie Tshirt

The morning of for the bus ride, we included water, muffins, fruit, crackers/cookies and cheese.
